Cloud Agent

Stoneware's cloud agent was designed to simplify an organization's move toward private cloud computing by integrating all cloud applications and services into the system tray of the end user's desktop. The cloud agent is an optional client application that can be run on workstations that maintain a significant number of locally installed applications.

The Stoneware Cloud Agent becomes the migration point for many organizations that are moving from a desktop-centric to web-based computing model. Significant numbers of organizations are planning to move to a web-based computing model over the next three years. The cloud agent can provide a compelling conversion strategy that allows them to exist in both a desktop and private cloud computing environment during the transition.

Cloud Agent for Windows

• Integrates all private cloud applications and services into the Windows desktop system tray
• Automatically authenticates workstation into the webNetwork private cloud

• A: Yes. A Universal Cloud Agent will be release in May of 2009 which will run across all platforms that support a desktop system tray.
